YOUR ROLE
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Key Account Manager to join our innovative team at Northlab. You will get the chance to be part of a leading company at the forefront of photonics technology. This role is pivotal in maintaining and expanding our international B2B sales efforts.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with both end customers and distributors, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and business growth.
- Drive sales efforts internationally, with a focus on finding new customers and expanding our market presence.
- Travel frequently to meet clients, attend trade shows, and represent NorthLab in various international markets.
- Communicate effectively with engineers, technicians, and academics to understand and meet their needs.
- Utilize your understanding of photonics and fiber optics to provide technical sales support and drive product innovation.
YOUR PROFILE
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in international B2B sales and a preferable a strong background in photonics. It is advantageous to have experience in sales of equipment for production lines in the manufacturing industry, and experience of sales to Germany, France, and the UK is also positive.
You should be able to work effectively with both end customers and distributors and communicate with engineers, technicians and innovators in the industry as well as researchers in the academic world.
It is good to have experience with frequent business travel since the role will require quite alot of travelling.
We believe that you have structured and organized approach to work, ensuring attention to detail and follow-through.
You are fluent in English and preferably another language such as German or French. You can be working out of our office in Nacka just outside Stockholm but we are also open to candidates based elsewhere in Europe.
Since we are working with the defense industry you will need to pass a background check for security clearance.
