Senior Backend developer

AI Medical Technology is developing a groundbreaking AI-based diagnostic tool for skin cancer. As a Senior Backend Developer with us, you will be a key player in a small, dedicated team. You will work on further developing and maintaining our backend platform, which is a central part of our CE-marked MedTech product. The role offers great freedom and the opportunity to influence the technical development in a company on an exciting growth journey.

Your Responsibilities

• Take charge of the development and maintenance of our backend in Python.
• Work with frameworks such as Flask and FastAPI.
• Develop and manage both internal and external APIs.
• Handle the system's logic for features like login and data flows between the client and the AI.
• Work with technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Act as a technical anchor in the team and take significant personal responsibility.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and the ongoing technical strategy for the platform.

Qualifications

• Several years of experience in backend development.
• Excellent knowledge of Python and relevant frameworks such as Flask or FastAPI.
• Experience working with APIs.
• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and take significant personal responsibility.
• Experience from working with microservice architectures.
• A humble and collaborative personality.
• You are fluent in written and spoken English, as it is our corporate language.
