Your role
We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our Scandinavian team. This role offers a unique opportunity to protect and support our existing customers while driving new business growth within the Scandinavian region. Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Relationship Management: Protect and support existing customers in your allocated sales territory and market sectors, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
- Business Development: Identify and develop new business opportunities in line with our agreed business plan within your allocated territory. Focus sectors include End of Line packaging, Wood Furniture, Construction, and associated manufacturers using adhesives.
- Sales Achievement: Meet and exceed sales and gross profit targets for your territory.
- Client Engagement: Conduct customer and prospect visits across Scandinavia. Recommend products, provide demonstrations, and oversee in-factory trials to showcase our offerings.
- Quotations and Pricing: Work closely with the Managing Director to produce accurate and competitive price quotations.
- After-Sales Support: Deliver exceptional after-sales service, including addressing customer complaints promptly and effectively.
- Internal Communication: Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless management of customer accounts and company interests.
- Reporting: Complete all required reporting tasks on time, maintaining transparency and accuracy in all communications.
- Financial Management: Ensure that payments are received within agreed terms and manage customers within their credit limits.
- Event Participation: Support exhibitions and sales initiatives as needed to promote our products and services.
- Health & Safety Compliance: Adhere to all health and safety requirements, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and others.
Your profile
Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related field.
Strong understanding of the Scandinavian market, particularly within the End of Line packaging, Wood Furniture, and Construction sectors.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Strong negotiation and financial management skills.
Fluency in English and Swedish is a must have.
This position offers the flexibility to be based in one of our key locations: Stockholm, Malmö, or Gothenburg.
