We are now looking for a qualified Project Manager to join our High Voltage System Department. It is a challenging and exciting role that requires excellent project management skills, technical expertise, and the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders. Your role
As a High Voltage System Project Manager at Enercon, you would be responsible for overseeing the preparation, planning, and implementation of various technical solutions for the construction of Overhead lines and High Voltage substations. Your main duties would involve choosing and planning components and operating equipment for new High Voltage substations in collaboration with suppliers and installation companies.
One of your primary tasks would be to create project-specific technical solutions for the construction of overhead lines and high voltage substations. You would need to consider factors such as project scope, budget, and client requirements to develop solutions that meet the project objectives.
In addition, you would:
- Manage tender works and project scope specification for subcontractors and conduct contract negotiations
- You would also be responsible for stakeholder management, this includes building and maintaining relationships with grid owners, operators, clients, subcontractors, and engineers
Your profile
The role of a Project Manager in the high voltage system field at Enercon requires several key requirements for success. Firstly, prior experience in a similar position is considered an asset. Additionally, experience in planning and construction of electrical engineering systems, particularly Overhead lines and High Voltage substations is essential.
Strong project management and site supervision skills are also necessary to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. The ability to work under pressure and take the initiative when required is also important in this role.
Other desired qualifications include:
- Technical Master craftsmen or Graduate engineer (BA or MA) in Electrical Engineering
- Good communication skills
- Excellent command of English (written and spoken)
