We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Supply Chain Manager to ensure that materials and logistics are available and in optimal condition to produce our quality products according to our production plans. Your focus will be on maintaining safety and cost-effectiveness in all operations.

Your role
As our Supply Chain Manager, you will lead the logistics team, which includes order processing, preparation, planning, procurement, intermediate storage, finished goods inventory, forklift transport, powder transport, and destruction. Your overarching responsibility will be managing all aspects of material control into, within, and out of the factory.
Your role will involve a range of responsibilities and tasks aimed at ensuring seamless operations and effective resource management. You will assess and determine the department’s capacity needs for upcoming planning periods and work closely with the Quality Department to establish, update, and enhance routines and instructions.

Key Responsibilities include:

Workforce and Resource Management
You will manage workforce and resources efficiently, authorizing overtime and approving leave requests to balance personal and production requirements. Additionally, you will oversee the procurement of external services and ensure that personnel are trained according to budget and competency needs.

Strategic Planning and Direction
Your role involves strategic planning and directing team efforts in collaboration with manufacturing and production leaders to achieve set goals while maximizing resource efficiency. You will also take overall responsibility for the procurement and management of raw materials, product components, and finished goods inventory to meet planned requirements.

Production and Delivery Oversight
You will supervise production schedules and delivery planning based on market forecasts and orders, coordinating closely with manufacturing and production teams.

Resource and Skill Management
Ensuring the department has adequate resources, skills, and working methods to meet operational demands is essential. You will lead departmental meetings and spearhead continuous improvement initiatives within your team and across other departments.

Compliance and Safety
Ensuring that all activities comply with laws, regulations, and environmental standards is critical. You will oversee the proper labeling, handling, and storage of chemicals and explosive materials to comply with safety regulations and ensure timely updates of safety data sheets.

In addition, you will:

- Regularly streamline workflows and enhance collaboration with various company divisions to drive overall efficiency.
- Promote information sharing and consultation in line with the Co-Determination Act (MBL).
- Manage the departmental budget, initiate recruitment processes, and oversee the onboarding of new employees.
- Lead investigations and manage rehabilitation if necessary, following accidents or other workplace safety issues within the department.
- Ensure timely reporting and updates to information boards.

Your profile
- Proven leadership experience with a relevant educational background.
- Several years of experience from similar role/-s
- Strong product knowledge and an in-depth understanding of production processes.
- Excellent organizational skills and familiarity with quality procedures.
- Competence in systematic environmental and workplace safety practices.
- Fluent in Swedish and English.
